We’re Ken and René Coons, San Diego natives with deep roots in both professional and personal partnership. We met on the very first day of graduate school and have been a team ever since. Married for 28 years, we’re proud parents to two amazing children, both currently attending UCLA.

With over 31 years of experience in healthcare startups, Ken has built a career in leadership roles that focus on client relationships and success. Known as a “jack of all trades,” Ken’s versatility and ability to navigate the challenges of a startup have made him a go-to advisor for entrepreneurs looking to build and grow their businesses. Whether it's strategy, operations, or client engagement, Ken thrives in environments that demand adaptability and innovative thinking.

René Coons

René brings a unique blend of educational expertise and entrepreneurial experience. After 15 years in education, she has a deep understanding of guiding people toward their goals. Prior to her education career, René successfully ran her family’s commercial printing business, where she honed her skills in operations, management, and customer service. Her balanced approach ensures that every project benefits from thoughtful planning and precise execution.
